The night was a veil of ink, the jungle an endless labyrinth of shadows, and the moment itself—a cruel, unfathomable riddle. Sleep crept upon me like an unseen predator, relentless and inescapable, dragging me into the abyss. Then—memories unraveled like a forgotten reel of film, flickering across the screen of my mind. Laughter echoing in sunlit streets. The untamed fire of youth. The warmth of my wife’s embrace, the tiny hands of my children curled around my fingers, the burdens of a life I had built—now unraveling, slipping through my grasp like sand in a storm. And then— I awoke. Dawn had spilled its go...

Chase through misty night

The engine roared as my target sped ahead, his car vanishing into the misty night. I slammed the accelerator, trying to close the distance. One hand gripped the steering wheel, the other held my gun. I didn’t want to shoot—I wasn’t even sure if he was a criminal or just a man crushed by circumstances.

"Stop!" I shouted, my voice lost in the wind. "Stop, and I promise you'll get justice!"

But he didn’t stop. Fear drove him faster. He swerved sharply near the riverbank, taking a sudden turn toward the bridge. I followed, knowing he had the advantage with his newer, more powerful car. If he reached the bridge, he’d be gone. I aimed at his tires and fired.

The shot hit its mark. His car skidded out of control, twisting wildly across the slick road. And then—just as he approached the bridge—a truck appeared from the opposite direction. The collision was violent. The metal-groaned glass exploded into shimmering fragments. His car crumpled like paper against the truck’s front.

My jeep hurtled toward the crash, death only seconds away. In desperation, I twisted the steering wheel, sending the vehicle toward the bridge’s edge. The guardrail gave way.

The jeep plunged into the dark abyss below. My body tore free from the seat and slammed into the icy water with a force that knocked the breath from my lungs. The river swallowed me whole. My limbs turned numb, and the last sound I heard was the deafening crash of water as it closed over me.

I was sinking—deeper and deeper. The river wasn’t supposed to be this deep. Despite my frantic efforts, an invisible force seemed to drag me downward, pulling me into the depths. I was a good swimmer; that’s why I’d dared to enter the river in the first place. But now, helpless and disoriented, I couldn’t save myself.

My breaths grew shorter. My chest tightened. Panic blurred my thoughts as the cold devoured me. My mind spiraled into darkness, and I surrendered to the river’s grip.

The Dive Into—a story that will take you on an unforgettable journey, a tale wrapped in mystery, time, and fate.

As the story unfolds, you'll follow a lone figure—disoriented and lost—who embarks on a journey to uncover secrets that stretch beyond their understanding. This isn’t just about survival or escaping danger; it’s about discovering who they truly are in a world where nothing is as it seems.

The river holds more than just water—it holds answers. But are the answers what they really want to find? With every twist and turn, The Dive Into will take you deeper into the unknown, into a journey that will challenge everything you thought you knew about time, identity, and destiny.

Prepare yourself for a mystical adventure, where the line between past and future blurs, and where the only thing certain is that nothing is ever truly as it seems.

Suddenly, my eyes opened. The warmth of the sun burned my skin. I was awake, lying face-down on wet sand. My body ached, my head throbbed. I blinked against the harsh sunlight and forced myself to roll onto my back.

Mysterious riverbank

Above me stretched a clear blue sky. The distant murmur of the river and the melodic chirping of birds filled the air. But nothing made sense. My thoughts tangled in confusion. For what felt like hours, I lay there, trying to grasp even a sliver of memory.

Then, faintly, it came: the crash, the plunge, the invisible force that dragged me into the depths. But beyond that, there was nothing. Only emptiness.

Pain throbbed in my skull. My limbs refused to move. I felt lost—adrift in a world that seemed unfamiliar, unreal. What was this place? What had happened to me?

It felt like a scene from a movie playing in my mind. All I remembered was that I had fallen into the water—beyond that, I was completely unaware. I didn’t know who I was or where I was. It was as if I had lost my mental balance.

With great effort, I stood up and looked around. There was no one in sight—just towering, dense trees and distant green mountains. Even these things seemed foreign, their outlines unfamiliar. Above me, a flock of birds glided across the sky in perfect formation, their chirping sharp and clear in the silence. I stood there, bewildered, trying to piece together this strange reality.

I started walking. The sun’s heat didn’t reach me beneath the thick canopy of trees. My steps were aimless; I didn’t know where I was going or what I was searching for. A strange sense of confusion gripped me.

All I could see was an endless forest, distant mountains, and the faint glimmer of a river. My throat burned with thirst, yet even the concept of thirst felt alien. I had forgotten that water could bring relief.

The forest grew thicker with every step. Shadows deepened as the sunlight struggled to penetrate the tangled branches. I moved like a ghost, disoriented and numb. After what felt like hours, I stumbled toward the riverbank. The water shimmered in the dim light. My throat ached with thirst, yet my mind failed to grasp what I needed.

Exhausted, I collapsed beside the water, perhaps waiting for death.

Then, from nowhere, a bird fluttered down and landed just a few feet away. It seemed frail, struggling just like me. I watched as it dragged itself to the water’s edge and drank. The moment the water touched its beak, life seemed to surge through its body. The bird stood taller, shook its wings, and soared into the sky.

I lay there, watching it disappear into the heavens. My thoughts were tangled, unable to understand what I had just witnessed. After a long while, I pushed myself up and crawled to the river’s edge. I cupped my hands and drank.

The water was cool and crisp. Relief flooded through me, chasing away the fog clouding my mind. I drank again, deeper this time as if the water carried life itself.

In that moment, I realized: that perhaps that bird had been sent by God to guide me—to save me.

The evening had fallen, and soon the evening turned into night. A new scene unfolded before me. I lay down right there, exhausted. The stars shimmered in the sky—a breathtaking sight—but I couldn’t feel its beauty. And then, I lost consciousness. Perhaps I had fallen asleep.

When I regained consciousness, the sound of birds chirping and the rush of water flowing through the river echoed in my ears. A cool breeze drifted through the air, but the sharp pangs of hunger made me restless. I thought about drinking water. I drank from the river, but the hunger didn’t subside. Now, I faced a new problem. Weakness was taking over my body, and I started walking toward the forest again.

Mysterious forest

After walking for a long time, a cheetah suddenly appeared in front of me. Strangely, I didn’t feel afraid—maybe because I didn’t fully grasp what it was or what it could do to me. But then, without warning, the cheetah started running toward me.

I instinctively turned to run, my mind unable to make sense of what was happening. I didn’t know where I was or where I was running. The cheetah was chasing me, closing the distance. In desperation, I glanced back—and froze in shock.

The cheetah lay on the ground, covered in blood. My mind raced, struggling to understand what had just happened. What had suddenly killed the cheetah? What unseen force had come to my rescue?

I turned back and walked toward the cheetah. It was lying on the ground, writhing in pain. Something was lodged in its neck—perhaps an arrow. I looked around, but there was no one in sight. My breathing was rapid, and fear gripped me.

Then, from one side, I saw someone riding toward me on a horse. The rider dismounted and stared at me with strange, bewildered eyes. He looked surprised to see me, and I was equally astonished.

He started speaking, perhaps asking me who I was. But I couldn’t understand anything. His words were meaningless to me. I stood there in confusion, unable to respond. I wanted to speak, but it felt like I had no tongue, no words.

He kept trying to communicate, speaking again and again, but when he got no response, he finally gave up. Tying his horse to a tree, he grabbed my hand and led me to a spot where he made me sit down. He rummaged through his belongings, took out some food, and began eating. I sat there watching him with longing.

He seemed to understand that I was hungry. Without saying a word, he handed me some food. I immediately started eating, mirroring his actions. With each bite, I felt a bit of relief, as though the pain inside me was slowly fading.

After we finished eating, he spoke to me again—probably repeating his question: Who are you? He tried for a long time, but I still couldn’t respond. In the end, he gave up, lifted me onto his horse, and started riding into the forest.

We traveled for hours until the horse grew tired and so did we. He stopped at a clearing, dismounted, and soon fell asleep. By then, dusk had fallen.

When he woke up, he tried speaking to me again. But, like before, I had no answers to give. I could see the frustration in his eyes; he was growing tired of trying to understand me. His attempts were fruitless, and I could sense his confusion deepening, maybe even thinking I was beyond reason.

Then, without warning, he stood up. My body tensed as he moved closer, and I instinctively recoiled, feeling an overwhelming sense of vulnerability. He began to touch me, but I didn’t understand why or what was happening. My mind, clouded by shock and confusion, could not comprehend his intentions. Fear swirled inside me.

The sensations were foreign and painful, far beyond anything I had experienced. The sharpness, the pressure—every feeling intensified as if my body was betraying me, reacting against my will. I screamed, but my voice felt swallowed by the air. The pain consumed me, and yet, it was not just physical. The emotional weight of it all crushed me from within, leaving me in a state of numbness and disbelief.

My thoughts were fragmented, scattered between anger, confusion, and a helpless desire to escape. But I couldn’t. My body refused to cooperate, and my mind felt like it was slipping away.

When it was over, I lay there, broken, unable to process what had just happened. He mounted his horse and rode off, leaving me in the silence of the forest, feeling like a mere shadow of who I was before.
